Speech CODEC for VoIP
Documents
Description

OKI
Semiconductor's ML7074-003GA is a speech CODEC designed for VoIP applications.
The device supports G.729.A, G.726, and G.711 voice compression standards,
conversion between G.729.A and G.726 standards, and pin-selectable µ-law and
A-law ITU companding. Optimized for VOIP applications such as terminal adapters,
routers, and IP phones, the device features echo cancellation (32 msec max),
DTMF detection, multiple tone detection and generation functions, and input and
output amplifiers.
The ML7074-003GA replaces and is fully compatible with
OKI's ML7074-001GA speech CODEC. The new features supported by the ML7074-003GA
are: a DTMF detector mute function and a tone generator wave- shaping function.
The ML7074-003GA CODEC uses a single 3.3-V power supply and is packaged in a
64-pin QFP.
