Flash Programming

The internal Flash of OKI MCUs are programmable through many different methods. Most of the debug and development tools noted above have built-in flash programming support for OKI ARM MCUs. The following vendors provide specialty products supporting production Flash programming. 

Company Product Description FSG manufactures mass production programmers. Some OKI ARM MCUs can be programmed by commercially available gang programmers from FSG.  Data I/O manufactures mass production programming tools. OKI MCUs can be programmed by vendors that have Data I/O gang programmers. Segger makes a series of in circuit JTAG Flash programming utilities. JFlash is one such low cost utility.  (YDC) YDC makes in circuit Flash programmers supporting OKI ARM MCUs

ARM


Selecting the right tools and development systems to support ARM IP is critical to design confidence. ARM provides designers with the ideal tools for creating and analyzing systems based on ARM technology. ARM and OKI have partnered to provide the ARM RealView Developer Kit for OKI, a full software suite including compiler, debugger, RealView ICE microedition, specifically designed for OKI microcontrollers, not compatible with ARM MCUs from other vendors.

Micrium 

Micrium provides high quality, royalty free software for embedded systems. Micrium's uC/OS-II Real Time Operating System is one of the most popular and low cost RTOS's in the market. In addition, Micrium provides several system solution software such as TCP/IP, USB, file system, GUI, and various development tools. 

Segger Microcontroller Systeme GmbH


SEGGER develops and distributes software development tools and ANSI "C" software components (middleware) for embedded systems. Main products are emWin, a universal graphics software (GUI) for embedded applications, embOS, a small real time kernel, emFile, an embedded, FAT12/16/32 compatible filesystem, USB stacks and J-Link, a popular JTAG emulator for ARM cores. SEGGER's intention is to cut software development time for embedded applications by offering compact, flexible and easy-to-use middleware allowing developers to concentrate on their applications

Express Logic, Inc. offers the most advanced run-time solutions for deeply embedded applications, including the popular ThreadX RTOS, the high-performance TCP/IP stack NetX, and the embedded MS-DOS file system FileX. All products from Express Logic include full source-code and have no run-time royalties.

Ashling


As a long-term partner of OKI, Ashling supplies a range of Code generation, Debug, Trace, and Verification & Validation tools for OKI's ML674001 and ML675001 families. The Ashling development kit for OKI's Advantage Microcontroller provides a complete solution for creating applications for the ARM architecture, and consists of an Integrated Development Environment, project build manager, GNU compiler, Ashling PathFinder Source Debugger, Ashling Opella JTAG Emulator, and a USB JTAG cable ready to be connected to OKI's CPU Board. An easy-to-use flash programming package, supplied with the Kit, programs the ML67Q4001 and ML67Q5001 on-chip flash memory and the flash devices on OKI's CPU boards.

Macraigor Systems LLC


Macraigor's products are designed for price-sensitive customers. The hardware supports Ethernet, serial and parallel connections from the host system to the target, supports multi-core debugging, comes with complementary software (OCD Commander, an assembly level debugger, and a GNU tools suite build)
