MEMS Accelerometer Application Kit
(Download MAK PDF)

Oki introduces evaluation hardware plus evaluation software to deliver a comprehensive low cost single box MEMS Accelerometer Evaluation Kit, featuring ML8953 3D Accelerometer with Digital Output.

Oki's MEMS Accelerometer Application Kit (MAK) allows product designers to easily evaluate the different features of the ML8953, such as digital output of acceleration in the three orthogonal axes, composite vector acceleration and device temperature. It also allows evaluation of several operational modes, like continuous measurement, polling operation with configurable polling intervals; roll and pitch angle calculation, average output, as well as interrupt operation with configurable acceleration triggering threshold.

The kit also allows easy migration to developing applications requiring motion sensing, tilt angle detection and others.

The key hardware element of the MAK features Oki’s ML67Q4061 ARM7 MCU. The Oki MAK shares common hardware with the ZigBee Development Kit, allowing product designers a common platform to evaluate Oki’s solutions for motion sensing, wireless network and ARM7 MCU.
