Can I really use Oki’s AME-51 CPU-board for software development for Oki’s ML67Q4060 Series Advantage Microcontrollers?

Descriptive Answer:

Yes. Oki’s AME-51 CPU-board has an Oki ML67Q4051 MCU on-board, which has the exact same peripheral set and internal registers and memory map as Oki’s ML67Q4060 Series Advantage Microcontrollers. The only exception is that the ML67Q4051 also has an external bus.

Therefore, the software programmer’s model for the two MCUs and functionality is very much the same. AME-51 board also has the 64-pin TQFP footprint of ML67Q4060/1 MCU on-board. If desired, users can remove the ML67Q4051 MCU from the board and replace it with the ML67Q4060/1TB (64 pin TQFP) MCU.
