Yes. Oki’s AME-51 Evaluation Kit comes with IAR EWARM software development tools and JLINK JTAG hardware. These tools enable JTAG debugging out of both RAM as well as ROM. When debugging application code from internal Flash of the MCU, a limited number of breakpoints are available. This problem can be overcome by using the on-board 1 MB of SRAM for ROM emulation. In ROM-emulation mode, unlimited software breakpoints are available making it easier to debug.
